He married Haydee (Bergher) Szlejf 02-07-1975. Haydee became the mother of Sharon Szlejf 11-27-1977. Haydee became the mother of Ariel Szlejf 01-06-1980. Haydee became the mother of Andrea Szlejf 04-08-1981.

At 27 years of age Bernardo became the father of Sharon Szlejf 11-27-1977. At 29 years of age Bernardo became the father of Ariel Szlejf 01-06-1980. At 30 years of age Bernardo became the father of Andrea Szlejf 04-08-1981.

Bernardo Szlejf and Haydee (Bergher) Szlejf had the following children:
