He married Rosa Clara Gueler Gorenstein in Sao paulo - Brasil, 18-02-1951. Rosa was born in Sao Paulo - Brasil 19-01-1931. Rosa was the daughter of Isaac Gueler and Laura Finguerman Gueler. Rosa died 14-11-1979 in Sao Paulo - Brasil, at 47 years of age. At 20 years of age Rosa became the mother of Joyce Gorenstein Brumer in Brasil, 21-02-1952. At 22 years of age Rosa became the mother of Adolfo Gorenstein Neto in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 22-08-1954. At 23 years of age Rosa became the mother of Mauro Gorenstein in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 17-12-1955.

At 29 years of age José became the father of Joyce Gorenstein Brumer in Brasil, 21-02-1952. At 32 years of age José became the father of Adolfo Gorenstein Neto in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 22-08-1954. At 33 years of age José became the father of Mauro Gorenstein in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 17-12-1955.

José Gorenstein and Rosa Clara Gueler Gorenstein had the following children:

3 i. Joyce Gorenstein³ Brumer was born in Brasil 21-02-1952. She married Samuel Brumer in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 29-12-1973. Samuel was born in Ijui-RGS-Brasil 06-09-1944. Samuel is the son of Jose Isaac Brumer and Clara Feiga Brumer. At 35 years of age Samuel became the father of André Brumer in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 27-07-1979. At 38 years of age Samuel became the father of Eduardo Brumer in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 02-03-1983. (See Samuel Brumer for the continuation of this line.)

At 27 years of age Joyce became the mother of André Brumer in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 27-07-1979. At 31 years of age Joyce became the mother of Eduardo Brumer in Sao Paulo - Brasil, 02-03-1983.
